About
CBE’s Launch Incubator For Traction (LIFT) is a 16-week competency-based, experiential program that provides intensive coaching and curriculum designed to improve startup performance and to increase its readiness to secure investment for early-stage, tech-based companies. The program is based in Atlanta and is aligned with Atlanta’s drive to become a top-tier tech hub for entrepreneurship per the vision of Andre Dickens; but we will now offer two distinct paths to empower not only founders based in Atlanta but others based nationally.
Key Features:
- Experiential Training: Regular meetings, workshops, and networking events to help hone and grow your business
- Dedicated Mentorship: Work with mentors, coaches, and subject matter experts from the CBE’s tech community network.
- Key Network Access: Build relationships with key ecosystem partners, including TiE Atlanta / Access Foundation, Invest Atlanta, Georgia Tech, NSF and national venture capital firms.
- Demo Day: Pitch your company to a curated audience of investors, partners, and media at our Demo Day event.
- Access to Capital: Connect with CBE’s expanding network of capital providers
Target Applicants
Tech-sector entrepreneurs of all backgrounds are eligible to apply for the LIFT program. Applications from companies with innovation in life sciences, artificial intelligence and machine learning are particularly encouraged to apply. The most important things we look for are a strong founding team and an idea you are passionate about.
Our Two Programming Paths
Path 1: CBE LIFT Atlanta (In-person/Hybrid)
This program is for founders building tech-based startups in the Atlanta metropolitan area who want to leverage the unique resources and community of the city’s growing tech ecosystem.
- Who it’s for: Entrepreneurs with a STEM-based company who are based in the Atlanta metro area.
Path 2: CBE LIFT National (Virtual)
This newly launched program is an expansion of the original CBE LIFT Atlanta program and is for ambitious founders across the country who are building innovative companies and want to access the LIFT program’s expertise from anywhere in the U.S. CBE’s national network of capital providers and operators will help support the journey of compelling startups throughout the U.S.
- Who it’s for: Early-stage, STEM-based companies located anywhere in the United States
How to Apply
We accept applications from founders at all stages. The most important things we look for are a strong founding team and an idea you are passionate about. We accept applications for both programs through the same form. Simply indicate which path you are applying for.
