Ajamu Baker is a passionate advocate of underrepresented start-up founders and PE/VC professionals. Ajamu brings nearly 20 years of leadership experience in areas including M&A, Venture Capital, and operations. Ajamu has led or helped guide successful execution of nearly $9B in technology deals across varied sectors including consumer electronics and cloud software. As a Corporate Development lead at Google, he worked on the $100M Racial Equity fund for Black-led VC firms, start-ups, and organizations.
Ajamu is a graduate of the dual-degree engineering program at Morehouse College and Georgia Tech where he obtained BS degrees in Applied Physics and Mechanical Engineering. He also holds a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
